about

The Trifler's sampling time machine has been caught in a storm of static electricity generated by the rubbing together of the legs of a thousand permed haired shell suit wearing Terries and Sharons, and landed up stuck in the decade that we would all would like to forget. The 1980s.

So you might expect the fear of nuclear war, the bleeping of a thousand yuppie’s mobile phones and the triumph of Reagan and Thatcher’s march to the right to be the soundtrack for the decade.

However being his normal perverse and awkward self, he again plunders the soundtracks of the “grandest” films of the decade to create something new but disturbingly familiar. All lovely splattered in noise, static and echo to produce a hauntological day-glo nightmare.

Where the strange and kitsch do battle with cheesy and malignant to create a cocktail of vibrant florescent man-made offcuts from the decade of me
